The Pony Express Invitational
Hosted by Southern Methodist University Mock Trial
The 2027 Pony Express Invitational runs January 30–31, 2027 on SMU’s campus in University Park, five miles north of downtown Dallas. This is the Second Annual Pony Express, building on last year’s inaugural tournament.
The Pony Express offers every program a last-chance opportunity to compete before Regionals. If you’re looking to test your theories after case-changes against the same teams you’ll face at Regionals and ORCS, the Pony Express is for you. Teams get four rounds of AMTA-style competition and experienced judging panels.
